The Raindrop Technique, developed by Dr. Gary Young, N.D. and a Lakota medicine man almost two decades ago, uses a sequence of nine highly immune enhancing essential oils.
They are dropped like rain onto the spine. This stimulates energy impulses and disperses the oils along the nervous system throughout the entire body.
A Raindrop session can clear and re-align energy centers, as well as balance your body and mind.
This technique is excellent for helping adults, children and animals with a variety of challenges and is supportive to our bodies and minds for overall wellness.
In a Raindrop session, Young Living therapeutic-grade essential oils are applied to the spinal column and absorbed through the nerves that feed the entire body.
The oils used in Raindrop support all of our body’s major systems. Wonderfully soothing, nurturing and relaxing, the Raindrop Technique can work its benefits in the body and mind for days, weeks or months.
Sessions are about an hour and 15 minutes and the oils will continue to work in the body for a minimum of a week following the treatment.
Here is some general information on some of the oils uses in this technique. Young Living takes great care to control the entire process of how their oil is produced, from seed to seal and has more documented research with external labs than any other company claiming to produce therapeutic-grade oils.
Valor – A special blend from YLEO that can support grounding, courage and energy alignment of the body.
Thyme – This oil may be beneficial in helping to overcome fatigue and exhaustion. Thyme is also supportive of the immune, respiratory and digestive systems.
Oregano – May help stimulate the immune and musculoskeletal systems and strengthen the vital centers of the body.
Wintergreen – Is an invigorating scent. It elevates and increases awareness of the senses and is also supportive of the skeletal system.
Cypress – One of the oils most used to support the circulatory system.
Peppermint – Can be especially effective in soothing digestion and supporting the respiratory system.
Basil – Relaxing to muscles, including smooth muscles (those not subject to our voluntary control, such as the heart and digestive system).
Marjoram – Used for calming the respiratory system and relaxing the muscles.
Aroma Siez – This special YLEO blend of essential oils may help relax, calm and relieve tight, sore, tired, and aching muscles resulting from fatigue and stress.
