Breath – Breathing for relaxation, also known as “breathwork”, is effective and simple to learn, and you can do it any time…anywhere. Breathing and relaxation techniques can have huge long-term benefits for your health — physical, mental, emotional, and energetic. These techniques also make you feel better right now by relieving the misery of anxiety and stress.
Carla will come to you and coach your team through some simple and effective breathing techniques for self care.
Guided Meditation – Meditation is a journey inward, and like any journey, it is easier to get to your destination with a guide. The art of meditation may be challenging for some at first due to internal chatter, external distractions or lack of discipline. However, when an experienced guide takes you into meditation, most people find it easier to drop inward. When practiced properly, 20 minutes of meditation is equivalent to three hours of sleep.
We will practice meditation in chairs (in one of your meeting rooms) or as part of an Adhara Restorative Therapy session (A.R.T.)
Yoga and Mindful Movements – A restorative yoga sequence typically involves three to six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Chair yoga and mindful movements go hand in hand with breathwork. Restorative poses and Mindful Movements include light twists, small arm, hand and leg movements and gentle backbends. Restorative yoga can take place in a boardroom, in chairs, or on a yoga mat with props at a retreat site.
Carla will come to you and support you through a relaxing and restorative sequence. Carla will come to your office or your retreat site.
Reiki – Reiki is typically included in an Adhara Restorative Therapy session (A.R.T.).
ART sessions include yoga, mindful movements, guided meditation, Reiki and essential oils.
Reiki is not available a la carte.
Essential Oils – Authentic therapeutic-grade oils are natural anti-oxidants, non toxic and support all of the body’s systems. Book a stand alone Self Care class with Essential Oils or an Adhara Restorative Therapy session which includes some essential oils as part of the session.
Mindful Eating – Many people eat semi-consciously, chewing and swallowing food with no real consideration for the taste, texture or how it makes them feel. Food affects our energy levels, our capacity to deal with stress, the state of our immune system and our ability to focus. Becoming aware of nutrition and how certain foods impact our systems is crucial to good health.
Part lecture and part sensory experience, your office supplies a healthy, catered conscious lunch and Carla will help your team experience the benefits of mindful eating.

I really enjoyed your Adhara Restorative Therapy class so much!
As we settled into the class and you brought the essential oils around for us to smell and apply, I immediately began to relax. As you helped us get into the first pose, I felt the tension of the past weeks begin to ease up. I smiled without even realizing I was smiling b/c this wonderful feeling of bliss washed over me. When you came around the room and placed your hands on my shoulders and then my head, I felt immense joy and well-being and I knew this was exactly where I was meant to be and exactly what I needed to experience.
