Adhara Restorative Therapy, A.R.T. for short is defined as:
Adhara: “To support or prop;” support; substratum; body apparatus.
In yoga, it means various places of the body where the attention is focused for control, concentration, and meditation.
A reservoir of pranic energies, storage units for the energies that flow into the subtle bodies through the chakras, therefore often mistaken for a chakra.
Adhara Restorative Therapy combines guided meditation, breath awareness, essential oils, mindful movements and Reiki – a light balancing touch.
Adhara Restorative Therapy addresses the following:
A.R.T. helped me get my body back on track after the surgery!
I came back several times to see Carla and I have to say the ART Therapy help me get my body back on track after the surgery!
I would highly recommend everyone trying Carla’s wrok. Whether you are just in the need of a relaxation stretch or if you have had surgery and need a holistic approach to getting your body back in motion!
Sri Devi’s A.R.T (Adhara Restorative Therapy) sessions are great.
I really enjoyed your Adhara Restorative Therapy class so much!
As we settled into the class and you brought the essential oils around for us to smell and apply, I immediately began to relax. As you helped us get into the first pose, I felt the tension of the past weeks begin to ease up. I smiled without even realizing I was smiling b/c this wonderful feeling of bliss washed over me. When you came around the room and placed your hands on my shoulders and then my head, I felt immense joy and well-being and I knew this was exactly where I was meant to be and exactly what I needed to experience.
How often do we take time to nurture and care for ourselves in such a relaxing, peaceful way? During your class I resolved that I would make the time to do this for myself on a regular basis. After the workshop, I felt years younger, and I think my face reflected it, b/c I noticed people looking at me and smiling more often than usual... so thank you for creating this space for much needed healing and self-care. You are a powerful healer and I love how you teach and empower others how to use resources available to us, like the essential oils and yoga props, to promote and enhance our own healing.
Thank you Carla!! "
